Will You Weep?

October 11, 2000 - Mark McBride

Will we weep for the drug addict? Will we weep for the prostitute? Will we weep for the girl having the abortion? Will we weep for the high schooler, the mid-schooler? Will we weep for the man who can’t support his family any more? Will we weep for every lost one of God? The Word of God says, “I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb.” Every man, every woman, every child. I knew them before I ever blew breath inside of them. Will you weep? Will you weep? Will you weep?

Will you weep for the lost in America? It’s not about who’s president. It’s about who is going to stand in the gap for the lost. Who will stand in the gap for the little ones who are lost; who are dying, who are dead, who are oppressed? Will you stand? Will you stand? Will you weep? Will you weep? Will you cry? Will you cry? Will you fall on your face before the Lord and will you cry? Will you allow the Holy Spirit to wrench your insides out for the lost of our country and of our world? Will you weep? Will you weep? Will you weep? Will you weep? Will you cry? Will you cry? Will you cry? Will you cry? Will you cry? Will you cry?

Will we stand by complacently, sitting in our church pews, doing nothing? Will we cry? Will we cry?  You and I will be somebody’s only hope. You and I this very moment, may be somebody’s only hope. Look into their faces. Look into their faces. Don’t look away. Look into their faces. See the tears of pain, and sorrow and grief. See the tears of lost ness. Look into their faces. Look into their faces.  Weep O saints for our cities, our counties. Weep O saints of God. Weep for the lost. They need you to cry for the Father. Weep O saints for the harvest. Weep O saints for the harvest.
