STILL TO BE UPDATED! COMING SOON!
Written by: Esther Dummer 3-2-2001
We are living in a time when the world is fast moving towards the end of the age. The Bible forewarns us that all that can be shaken will be shaken. The earth is moving beneath our feet, physically and spiritually. This is a rich time of harvest as well, as God moves upon the land for His Divine Purposes.
There
is a truth that we all can take hold of during this time and that is:
“The Power of Prayer to Change
Things.”
*Many
tragedies have been averted that never happened, because of the faithful prayers
of those upon the walls whom God warned of impending disaster.
*Many
disasters that have come have not touched certain areas because of prayer.
*Many
storms have been lessened in their effect because of the pleadings of prayer
warriors who took hold of the horns of the altar and asked God for Mercy in time
of Wrath.
Only
eternity, when we stand before our Father God, will tell the full story of how
many times that God has released vials of prayer and spared people and places
that might have felt some level of destruction.
In
this season, as we all realize that Jesus is coming soon, we also realize that
there is much at work behind the scenes that only prayer can turn aside.
We continue to pray in times of
stress, war, flood, fire and earthquake, asking God to spare life and
property. There are many records of
miraculous deliverance even for those who were caught in the middle of some
disaster. Many say, “God kept His
hand on me.” Many tell of praying for help.
God has been so faithful to His people’s prayers as we have been
faithful to pray and intercede on behalf of those who don’t know to pray or
know how to pray. God has always
had a people who know how to pray and they have been powerful before the throne
of God. Some of them are seemingly
weak here on earth and may feel that their prayers are feeble, but God gathers
each one and they do move His hand on behalf of humanity.
“Where
there are no Prayers, no Answers Come.”
Prayer
Guide:
For
the Church:
*Pray
that they will prepare by establishing themselves on the Solid Rock, Jesus
Christ and set their anchor there, as it is the only place of safety in time of
storm.
*Pray
that They will not move in fear as the world does, but that they will move in
Love, Power and a Sound Mind, which casts out all fear.
*Pray
that they will set aside funds and goods for disaster relief in preparation to
help the unfortunate.
*Pray
that the Spirit of Intercession will come and lead them to stand in the gap
during these times.
*Pray
that they will be ready to receive the harvest that will come in, as people are
moved towards God during times of disaster.
*Pray
that they will prepare spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically to face
times of trouble and not be caught unprepared themselves.
For
the Lost:
*Pray
that their hearts will be softened and turned towards Jesus during these times.
*Pray
for safety over them, as many are facing death if we do not intercede.
*Pray
for them to find shelter during time of storm, both spiritually and physically.
*Pray
for those who have lost everything or suffered great loss during times of
disaster, that they will not despair.
*Pray
against depression and hopelessness.
For
the Intercessors:
*Plead
with God remember Mercy in times of Wrath.
*Bind
the hand of the enemy from working his destruction, deception, and death during
these times.
*Pray
for God to use these events to awaken and shake His Church out of their slumber.
*Pray
for repentance and salvation to flow during times of catastrophy.
*Listen
carefully to the voice of the Holy Spirit, what He speaks to you through
revelation, prophecy, dreams and visions, which serve to alert you to intercede
for impending disaster.
*Pray
for the Harvest to come in.
*Pray
for safety for the region or city, state or nation, that it will be spared.
Words
of Comfort:
Don’t
forget that if you are caught in a disaster to rely upon your position, which is
established in, by and upon the Lord.
*You are seated with Christ.
*You are under the shelter of His Wings.
*You are established upon the Rock, which can never be shaken.
*You are anchored during times of storm.
*The angels of the Lord encamp about those who fear Him.
Keep
focused upon the absolute fact that God knows you and knows exactly where you
are. Remember that He is ever
mindful of His Children.
