Going Up to High Places 21

“Ready or Not - Here I Come!”

Wednesday, May 14th and Friday, May 16th

Mark 13:33

Take heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is.

Luke 12:35-40

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

God has always given humanity ample time and then some…

And He has been more than just with His Church in ages past and the current age.

He has been liberal with His commands and directions…

And He has been equally liberal with His promises.

He has given everything possible within His power to help man make right

Decisions regarding eternal things…

But one thing he has left in the power of man is the power of choice…

And this the church has done – made her choices.

According to God’s Word a season can end with God shutting the door of opportunity.

Queen Esther had only a short door of opportunity to do what God told her to do.

Gideon has a time frame in which he was to do what God has commanded of him.

The demise of Jericho was timed to the minute in what was to happen.

The Children of Israel lost their door of opportunity.

Lot and his family had only a very small door in which to get out of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The world in Noah’s day had only a certain time to get on board with God’s Plan of escape.

And we, as the church of today have only our generation in which to get on board with God’s plan for the Church.

The past season has afforded time for response from God’s church and from individuals within the church.  So much is hinging upon our being able to hear and obey and to use the time allotted us, that all God desires to be done will be accomplished.

There are key messages that will be shared during this time that will revolutionize your heart and soul and bring great strength to you.

If we, as the church, can get it right then the world around us will have a chance to know the truth.

·        Pastor Loren Dummer has a two-part prophetic message for the modern church, one that will greatly challenge the foundations of what has been built upon.

·        Pastor Esther Dummer has a two-part message for the revival church on “Preparing yourself for Last Day’s Deception,” that will also greatly challenge the revivalist to stay pure and on target, lest they be swept away into error.

These messages are harmonizing, in that there is a spiritual 9-1-1 being sounded in the heavenlies. These have been burning in their hearts deeply for months now and these messages must be released.

God is speaking a serious word to His church in this hour.

We have to hear the Word of the LORD to navigate the stormy waters ahead of us.

Pastor Mark McBride will be ministering through the Worship, drawing us closer to the heart and throne of God, as the Holy Spirit leads him.

It is a desperate hour and desperate people understand the urgency of time.

We want to hear your vision.

We want to hear your burden.

It is time to find each other and seek God as if this is the last time we will ever have to cry out for God for Divine Intervention.

How many of you need prayer warriors who understand your battle to partner with you, to strengthen you, to encourage you and to lift your hands when the battle is long and fierce?

Is there such a place?  Are there such people?

Yes, there is a place and a people to whom you can bind your hearts!

  • We feel that there are many more than we know who are of like precious faith, passion and desire for God to move powerfully.
  • We believe there are those who have held their ground in intercession, believing God for revival in their church, city and region and for the harvest to come forth.
  • We believe there are those scattered around this region who have received a word from the LORD they have been holding onto for years now.
  • We believe there is light in the darkness that the devil has not been able to put out.
  • We believe there are brave intercessory people who have travailed in prayer and fasting, carrying the burden of the LORD, knowing that the time of fulfillment is drawing near.
  • We believe there are those who have faced some fierce opposition and have wondered if there’s anyone else like you.

We believe it is time to find out who we all are.

  • Can you imagine what kind of worship and intercession could be entered into if we were all in one place, in one accord, of one heart, mind and spirit?
  • Can you imagine the level of hunger and passion that would fill such a place and the impact on heaven?
  • Can you imagine what it would be like for God to open the heavens over such a place and pour His Glory and overflowing presence into our midst?

Can you hear the LORD calling you to such an encounter with Him?

Whatever you do, clear your calendar; make the extra effort, against all odds to be here.

WE NEED EACH OTHER – NOW – MORE THAN EVER!

“Get The Message Out!”

By Pastor Mark McBride - Written February 4, 2008

As I listened to the call to prayer for churches and pastors on Sunday morning, I was burdened for these men of God, their wives and their churches that have such a genuine hunger for a true encounter with the living God. Many are tired, worn out, discouraged and desperate for a breakthrough in their own lives and in their churches. They wonder and hope like we have for the season of God’s promises being manifested in and through His people.

How many more ministers of God are living in isolation and anonymity hungering for a greater move of God in their lives?

May God bring us together in pursuit of His pleasure!

Since the beginning of this year, we here at Gateway set aside time to fast, pray and worship. With every New Year, we always strive to hear and discern God’s immediate direction as well as prophetic direction for the coming months.

I can sense something building, the crescendo of the anointing and power of God upon His church. To tell you the truth at times it there has been a sense of a literal explosion of God’s power in our midst as the Spirit of God has overflowed in our hearts.  We all sense the depth of God’s Holy Spirit churning knots of purpose, hope and release in our spirits.  It seems that the ground perhaps is beginning to shift and shake, rattle and roll as God prepares His people for revival and an awakening like we have not seen or heard of in our generation.

Are you ready, friend?

As we moved into intercession on behalf of these hungry people from around our state, I couldn’t help but think about how much we need each other in the Body of Christ. The cry in my heart became that we need to get the message out, the message that revival is still alive and well in Oregon, alive and well in the Pacific Northwest, alive and well in America.

Jesus is coming soon and His church must be made ready for His appearing.

In the words of evangelist, Steve Hill, “Tell them I’m coming, don’t wine and dine them.”

We need fresh Pentecostal fire and power to pour down from heaven.

Let the heavens be opened and darkness be banished as the Lord our God descends in His mighty glory.

Let the rain of His presence settle upon His people like dew on the morning grass in spring.

The message is clear. The river of God is still flowing and the Spirit of God is still moving in Oregon and in particular at Gateway Worship Center in Clatskanie. God still has eyes for Oregon pastors and Oregon churches. God still has eyes of affection for revival in Oregon.

Friends, there is still time to get right with God, purify yourself, and consecrate your hearts for service to the King above every other King. God’s chief desire is that the river of His Spirit flow in you and your church. A heart of repentance and a life of obedience sets the stage for the movement of God upon your life and mine.

If there is one thing that I know it is that we are small and insignificant in the natural, but in God, we are mighty. Clatskanie is an ordinary rural Oregon community like many others and we are ordinary people with an extraordinary call and vision from an amazing God who rules the universe.

I want you to know that there is hope for you and your church. There is hope because our God is alive and on the throne and has desired to move upon His church and woo her into His loving arms. His fiery love has moved Him to breathe into our lives once again. There’s no place I would rather be than in His presence!

There is a fresh stirring of the anointing, the fire is falling, and the glory is descending.

God’s people are getting in the chase for His glory and for His passion.

So get the message out!  God is up to something in Clatskanie. Yes indeed, God is definitely up to something.

You may say, “What good can come from Clatskanie?” We’ve wondered the same thing. Why us? Why here? We aren’t rich and we don’t have a big church - but we do have a great big God.

Breakthrough is on the horizon and salvation, healing and deliverance is just about to break forth like a fountain.

Get the message out - there is a deep well at Gateway. This is not a revival marked by personalities, programs and performances. This revival has the mark of Jesus Christ, the mark of the cross, the mark of repentance and the mark of purity.

No flesh will glory in His presence.

Sound the sound of worship and intercession, repentance and weeping, that all may know there is a King in heaven who is on the move.

Sound forth the call of God to every tribe, tongue and nation that rivers of mercy and fountains of grace would be poured out upon this dry and thirsty land.

Sound forth the call of God to Oregon, to America, and to the four corners of the earth.

The fire is burning and the power of God is being charged up for the greatest days in history. Church, get right, get ready, get going and prepare to be released into the harvest field and compel them to come in.

Some have been wondering if there is anyone out there with like heart and like passion.

Some have wondered if the well has dried up in your church or in your city.

Perhaps you have wondered if the fire and passion have grown cold in Oregon and in the world.  Has the lamp stand of revival dimmed in these days of political, social and economic uncertainty?

All I have to say is there is a river here - Come and swim!

There is a well here - come and drink!

There is a fire here - come and be ignited for His glory.

His presence is here - come and dine at His table.

What we have here is not ours. It was not of our choosing and it was not of our making. We have pursued the path of God’s purpose and plan to hell and back. We have battled in worship and intercession.  We have wielded the sword of truth and pierced the darkness of this world and found that indeed the Lord, He is good!

The question was asked when the Brownsville Revival broke out on Father’s Day of 1995 and in the subsequent days, “Why do we need to go all the way to Florida. We have the same Holy Spirit here with us. We don’t need to go anywhere to have a move of God.”

I can’t answer this question for you but I can for myself. I traveled 2500 miles to Pensacola because I was hungry and desperate for something greater - For something that my grandmother (a retired Oregon Missionary who was a little girl in the early 20th century) had told me about. A place where God’s power was great, His presence was everything and His glory was heavy.

We have gone after God with all of our hearts because we heard there was more, because we were sick of liturgical Pentecost.

There is nothing worse than powerless Pentecost, ineffective anointing, and religious ravings.

That’s what we had; Empty worship, tearless altars, dry bread and stale water.

We had one foot in the world and the other in religion. We were not getting anywhere. We had no traction. The wheels of man’s programs were spinning and producing statistics instead of changed hearts and changed lives.

We are done with that.

If it cost us everything we will run after the destiny of God.

Without restraint and with fiery passion we are racing toward the end of it all, to see the Joel’s prophecy fulfilled in our generation.

So get the message out! God is up to something. Get in the River. If you are new to the river experience, come on in the water is fine. There are lifeguards here we call leadership to watch over you as you soak in the presence of God. You’ll be safe here. Perhaps you were injured exploring a river once before, we want you to know the river here is a safe place to heal, be restored and strengthened in faith and purpose.

  • We invite you to discover with us the true potential of God’s church on fire and full of the power and anointing of God’s Spirit.
  • We invite you to come alongside as brothers and sisters with like passion and faith in these last days before the great and terrible day of the Lord as we together chase after His glory.

The price of revival is paid for in tears of intercession, paid for in the crucifying of the flesh.

Revival is paid for with humility and a broken and contrite spirit that the Lord can not deny.

The price of revival is paid for with the agony of soul wrenching prayer.

In this hour of wretched religion, cry aloud and spare not.

“No Fear”

It is still the cross.

It is still the blood.

It is still atonement.

It is Jesus or it is nothing!

It is still salvation.

It is still healing.

It is still deliverance.

It is Jesus or it is nothing!

It is not angels!

It is not men standing on platforms.

It is not leaders sitting in offices or think tanks.

It is Jesus or it is nothing!

It is not the broad path of emerging ideologies.

It is not the new age thinkers entering the church doors.

It is still the Strait Gate – the Narrow Way.

It is Jesus or it is nothing!

Do not fear to stand apart from the crowd.

Do not fear to declare Jesus and Him crucified.

Do not fear to preach He is the Way, Truth and Life.

Do not fear to say, "It is still Jesus or it is nothing!"

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Do not fear man – Fear God and live!

Mal 4:2a

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…”

We are going to come together at the 21st Going Up to High Places to cry out to God for the Church.  We are going to worship and pray and hear the Word of the LORD. The need is so great and the prayer of hearts bound together for purpose is rare.  There are only a few opportunities for us to grip each other’s hands and cry aloud.  We have got to get our collective feet in the door of the church and pray like never before for Divine Intervention.

There are two or more key messages that will be shared during this time that will revolutionize your heart and soul and bring great strength to you.   Pastor Dummer has a two-part message that every ministry leader and intercessor needs to hear.  It is straight from the heart of God for His church.  If we, as the church, can get it right then the world around us will have a chance to know the truth.

It is a desperate hour and desperate people understand the urgency of time.

We want to hear your vision.  We want to hear your burden.

How many of you need prayer warriors who understand your battle to partner with you, to strengthen you, to encourage you and to lift your hands when the battle is long and fierce?  Is there such a place?  Are there such people?

There is a place and a people to whom you can bind your hearts with!

It’s time for as many revivalists as is possible to find each other.

  • I feel that there are many more than we know who are of like precious faith, passion and desire for God to move powerfully.
  • I believe there are those who have held their ground in intercession, believing God for revival in their church, city and region and for the harvest to come forth.

And…there is a place, a safe place, a sanctified place to come.
