Joshua 3
There comes a time when that
which is prophesied and promised comes to pass!
We, as revivalists, pastors, prayer
warriors, prophetic people of vision and foresight, get so caught up in the
cycle of waiting that our whole objective becomes the “cycle of waiting.”
-
We at first, who were presumptuous
and hasty with what God was promising to do in our churches and cities, now
have become “good waiters.”
That is not necessarily bad, unless we
just have “learned to wait with the same mindset” that others ride out tough
times with – those who go into a “mode of survival” rather than victorious,
active living while waiting.
Deep down, one may wish, hope and pray
for deliverance, healing, the city being saved, revival in the church, the
harvest coming in, the salvations flowing in the streets, the youth marching
forth into their cities as a radically changed army of young faith, children
rising up and prophesying and so much more… but the feeling begins to develop as
if “we are a child who has been promised a bicycle one too many times and never
got one.”
We have got to quit
naturalizing the move of God and the things of the Spirit!
Those of us raised in the church have
heard it all of our lives - “Jesus is coming back” to receive His church unto
Himself. We know He’s promised to come again. And yet, we too have learned to
live our Christian life with that belief tucked somewhere in a remote part of
our beliefs about Jesus.
We read the promises in the Bible, hear
the prophecies and messages and teachings with such words as, “soon,” “quickly,”
“on the third day,” “imminent,” “this is the day and this is the year…” and in
our human thoughts believe and define those words for God, as WE have perceived
them.
We take our concepts of eternal
things from our earthly dictionary and place God on our time table of “NOW,”
(which is another word we have heard.)

“Soon,” to us, means some time in the
next week or two.
-
“Quickly,” means “sooner than soon.”
We count eternal things by days and
years and clocks. We have very little concept of the eternal system from which
God moves towards man and of the deeper purposes that He moves with to bring
into reality that which he has promised to do.
We are so human and He is So
God!
We have confused ourselves by applying
the timeline of planet earth to prophecies and promises that we have received
from the Lord. Much time has passed since most of you first received a promise
from God concerning your church, city, or even your own life.
We have also confused the
issues of God’s timing by believing that it is somehow connected or tied to and
held within the framework of our own life span.
-
We have to realize that we
are a small part of something so much bigger than you and me and yet, very
significant.
-
There is a world-wide move of
God going on and the stakes that God has in the Christian’s world wide is
sizeable.
-
This season is hitting
everyone, everywhere as God is stirring all of us to move towards the mark
that He has set for us in our cities, regions, states and nations.
Many times people have heard, felt,
seen or prophesied a thing and felt the urgency of the prophecy and thought that
it was going to be fulfilled “NOW,” without realizing that the urgency in their
human spirit was being stirred by the Spirit of God for the purpose of
intercession for an extended period of time.
Yes, prayers have been prayed during
times of feeling “imminent,” “foreboding,” or “anticipating,” a thing “now” but
the feelings we have about “time” have also brought disappointment to us when
“OUR EXPECTATIONS” were not met by “GOD’S FULFILLMENT” in the time or season
that we thought.
But folks, there is a TIME when
“3 days means 3 days” and “tomorrow means tomorrow!!!”
There comes a TIME when the overlapping
events of our journey reach a place of fulfillment and you actually reach the
destination!!!
Joshua 3:3 – “…sanctify
yourselves for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”
There comes a time when we quit
teaching, singing and preaching and prophesying about the “promise of God,” and
“receive the Promise!”
We have all seen it and done it
ourselves – looked at a huge spanse of distance between where we are right now
and our promise that is just over the river. We only see the obstacle and
wonder how this is going to happen.
BUT GOD…IN A MOMENTS TIME, WITH
A SINGLE WONDER, CAN REDUCE THE TIME, DISTANCE AND OBSTACLE TO A “NOW!”
Promises are made to be fulfilled and
God is one who keeps His Word – so count on it. Quit counting days and months
and years for they are but a drop in eternity, but the promises of God are as
eternal as His Word the moment it precedes from His mouth into your heart,
church, city and region.
Consider the following Word of
the Lord that came in 2001, a promise of the harvest that is to come.
The following word talks about the
“Net” and the “Knot People.” This powerful word of encouragement and positioning
will ratify some things in your heart even as you read it.
Friday Night Fire

The Spirit of the Lord says,
“Get ready church. Get ready
church.
Children of Zion, get ready.
You’re about to grab in your other hand
another instrument. You think that all that you’ve been doing is fighting a
battle against devils and demons. You think that all you’ve been doing is
pushing and pushing and pushing against strongholds. Though you have been doing
this, yet there has been more. You have been building a net. In the heavenlies,
you have been building a net. In every city across the land, I have a people. I
have a remnant.
And in each place they represent
“a knot.”
A people that will not
quit.
They’ll not give up.
They’ll not turn back.
They’ll not give in.
They’ll not go away.
They’re a knot people.
And there is a weaving taking place
across the land. This net is bigger than what you could have ever imagined.
It doesn’t just cover cities.
It doesn’t just cover regions.
It covers states.
My net is big.
You’re waiting for a purpose.
You keep saying, “When? How long? How
long? How long?” I’ve heard it, not just from you, but across the land I’ve
heard it; people crying out. “How long O Lord? How long?”
Get ready church.
Though you will not lay down your sword
as a warrior, you’re about to pick up your cleaning tools because there are fish
about to be caught in the net! For when the time is right
and I say “now” to the hosts of heaven; who even now I
have strategically placed around the land, they are soon to let go of the net,
and the net will fall and it will catch a harvest!
But when the net hits the ground it
will cause a ripple that will sweep from the Northwest across the land. A ripple
will begin to spread. You’ll be so busy that you won’t have time to look and to
say “what’s going on over here, or what’s going on over there? What’s happening
in this town and what’s happening in that town and this church and that church?”
For you shall be so busy in your own harvest.
There are a fish that are about
to be caught. There is a net, (and some of you can now even see it for I’ve
opened the eyes of some) and even now you see this net stretched across the
Northwest and it is about to drop.
It is about to drop.
I said it’s about to
drop!
Get rid of the unnecessary. Lay aside
the weight; the sin that does so easily beset you. Turn away from the
distractions and get again your focus, for it’s about to happen church.
Children of Zion, it’s about to
happen.
I’ve not been just preparing
you here, but I’ve been preparing a people everywhere.
And so I say again what I said at the
beginning, “Get ready.”
Think about the words ‘get
ready” and ask yourself, “what must I do to be ready?”
You’re about to see the most awesome
manifestation of Gods glory and Gods power break forth, for as lightening
strikes from the heavens, so shall My power strike this land saith the Lord!
“2001? - Why so long,” one
might ask?
Preparation and Timing!
While there has been great and steady
harvesting going on in places all over the world, is there not a greater harvest
that we all believe God for?
-
Do we even begin to realize what a
world-wide harvest of souls is going to look like?
-
Do we understand the world in which
this “wonder of God” is going to happen?
We are not talking about utopia but
about a major overthrow of the kingdom of darkness right under the devil’s
nose.
-
He is getting ready to lose key
players in his camp.
-
He is getting ready to feel his
throne shifting as a revival harvest earthquake rocks his boat.
-
He is getting ready to have no
control over the gates of hell for the church of the Living God is about to
cross over to possess the land.
-
Jericho is the first to fall, the
first king, and the first city.
It will be like watching dominos fall
in his camp because once this begins everything will have a bearing on the
other. People of influence, such as the Rahab’s of Jericho, will now have
influence for righteousness sake as they walk out of the world’s webs of sin and
sickness, liberated from their bondages for the first time in their lives! These
people take others with them when they leave!
The Lord has shown me that there are
some people out there that are feeling more like a “loose end,” than you do a
“knot” in this net – that there are those who have been “frayed by the trials,
tests, temptations and tribulations” and wonder how you are going to make it to
the “promised land.” Some of you are feeling very isolated, unimportant,
insignificant and far removed from the main stream of the “revival activity.”
Some of you have felt as if everything is “unraveling,” like the dreams and
visions for your church and city have all but “come apart at the seams.” You
have read of the powerful gatherings of prophets and training camps but have had
no way to go, so you have sat it out, hanging on in some very dry places. Some
of you are really wondering if the promises were just an overcharged emotional
experience but are now “facing reality,” because of disappointment.
Don’t do that, please! This is real!
God is going to fulfill His Word to you! The Vision was real and worth
believing God for! “Tie up the loose ends” and strengthen yourselves!
Folks! The devil has done his
best to untie you from God’s purposes but he cannot if you will just realize the
unique part that you have in strengthening the “net-work” that God is putting
together.
It is not about a single place – it is
about God and many places. Cities are no more and little towns are no less with
God. He is not interested in numerical equations of who’s bigger and who’s
smallest. He is interested in who’s ready to go forth into the harvest field as
a worthy laborer.
Think of it - Hand tied into
God’s fishing net by the Spirit of God!
There is no greater calling or
placement!
“There is a time when
“tomorrow” means “tomorrow!”
I am going to ask that each and every
ministry that we prayer covenanted and networked with over the years make every
effort to come together again for this encounter. I believe that God is going
to do a great work in preparation for what is about to transpire. I feel that
God is going to build, strength and reaffirm the promises – that He is going to
show you that you are counted with a great number of people of
“like-precious-faith!” There is a feeling of the Divine with this High Places –
God is going to show up and reveal some things to His people in a very powerful
way. Please listen to the Spirit of God and gather with us. It is important
that you be here!
We invite you to come and be a part of
this powerful time. If you need housing, we do have a limited number of private
homes which are great places to stay. All we need is for you to call and let us
know for sure if you are coming. There is no registration for High Places but
there will be freewill offerings received. We desire for everyone to come, so
we have attached no fees or registration costs for this ministry. We are
dedicated to making this an impactive time for all who enter these doors.
We are so privileged to have been a
small part of what God is doing all over the world. This is the completion of 7
years of High Places with this gathering being the 14th. We look
forward to the many years ahead as long as God chooses to use us in this
