Joshua 3:1 “…lodged
there…”
This is where so many of you feel you’ve
come to – a place that you have been lodged, waiting for some movement
into the release of the fullness of God and His promises of what He said
He would do as well as the fulfillment of the vision that He has given you
for your church, city or region, as well as families.
You have traveled forward – anticipating the
“crossing over” only to find that you have been “lodged there” – just shy
of receiving the promise.
“Waiting it out” is harder
work than moving forward, especially if you
believe that you know where you are headed. You have the promise, the
vision, the leader, the presence of God and the Glory and Fire at times
that “moves in your midst,” but you are still “seemingly stuck,” just out
of reach of what you can feel is “about to happen.”
You know you’re close –
you can feel it and see it on the horizon, but you can’t attain to it yet…
The “Wilderness Season” has been long and
taxing at times, but God has been doing a marvelous work in this time of
“waiting.”
These wars against our own flesh have made
us “Seasoned Warriors” who will soon “cross over into the next season” to
assault and battle the “Kingpins of Flesh,” that are running rampant on
our cities, region, state and nation…
“Kingpins of Idolatry,
Perversion, Bondage, Witchcraft and other forms of rebellion, Strongholds,
Curses and Lies”
We will soon, if we endure with patience and
perseverance in our prayers and preparation for what is to come, watch the
“Great Horns of our Cities, Churches, Families and Nations” fall in ruin
and defeat. Yes, it is true that all evil will not be wiped out,
but there is coming a day where a
“window of time” is going to open and
we will cross over to defeat
Jericho and see the walls
fall before our eyes.
“Rahab and her household
shall be saved!”
For some of you it has been some time of
gut-wrenching preparation and personal warfare combined with the warfare
that has been fought to prepare your church and city or ministry for the
harvest that is coming in, but rest assured…the
time frame of waiting is necessary.
There has been a reason
for God’s delay.
Testing times always
delay our own adventurous spirits that would just barge right on into the
promise land ill-prepared.
It is all about
preparation…
-
The grain is
prepared by removing the chaff.
-
The
fruit is being gathered and checked by the owner of the
vineyard.
-
The Holy Spirit’s
probing has been deeper
than ever before.
-
God is
purifying us even further to bring to the surface all the “hidden
dross.”
-
The
cleansing of garments and hands has gone into our
private closets, those
things that we “thought we had dealt with.”
-
Our spirit
ears and eyes are being sharpened to see and hear more clearly so
discernment is up a
notch.
-
The
“old man is dying,” and a “new man is arising,” to take
the land.
-
God has taught your hands to
war against our own flesh.
-
There is yet
a remnant to be gleaned
from the church and the waiting continues to do its job as hearts are
tested to see what they are made of.
You journeyed to this
place find that God is still preparing His
Temple.
Don’t be disappointed or
impatient with this time,
because there are many blessings mixed in because of the faithfulness of
your heart to allow God to empty you
out so He can fill you will the fullness of the Spirit.
-
God is still in the house.
-
You are
still praying and believing.
-
You are worshipping and moving into a
deeper relationship with The Father.
-
You are
sensing the close presence of the Holy Spirit.
And, for many of you it has also been also
a very difficult time of great
trials. Some of you have been
shaken deeply in the last
few months; maybe some starting about the first of the year, about the
time you heard all the prophecies of all the good things that are to
happen this year. This season has probably
shaken your faith to its core,
but you have found that you are more deeply established than ever.
-
For others, you may be
staggering under the blows
and wondering where God is in the midst of your fiery trial.
-
Some of you have
cried bitter tears of loss and fear.
-
Some of you
have felt the weight of the issues
- things that are of no personal fault, things that you have been thrust
right into the middle of - fall on your head.
But most of you, in spite of what things
have occurred; still know that God is faithful. I feel a sense of resolve
in many of you such as Job declared –
“Though God slay me, yet
will I trust Him.”
Joshua 3:3
-
“When you
see the Ark moving…”
For some of you, it may seem that, compared
to the early revival days of the Cloud and The Fire moving and your
following, that God has slowed down quite a bit, but when The Ark becomes
that which we follow, instead of signs, something big will have
transitioned. This is when the Church finally gets it eyes fully on Jesus
and waits for Him to move ahead of us. Isn’t that what it is all about –
“Follow Me?” I love the manifestations of the movement of the Spirit, but
we must also remember that the Spirit draws us to Christ. Now that He has
our attention with the cloud and the fire, we will notice that the Lamb
and the Lion are getting ready to move on the land.
-
Jesus,
“The Lamb of God”
who takes away the sins of the world
is after the harvest.
-
Jesus,
“The Lion of the Tribe of
Judah”
who roars out of Zion is after the devil and
his kingdom.
Joshua 3:5 – Sanctify
yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you!”
It is time to get our
“Crossing Over Clothes” “Without Spot or Wrinkle.”
Follow the
Ark when you see Him
moving!
Why?
“We have not passed this
way before.”
