"Hitherto is the End of the Matter."

Daniel 7:9-10; 13-14; 22; 27-29a

“I beheld until the thrones were cast down, and “The Ancient of Days” did sit, whose garments was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool; His throne was like the fiery flame and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him; thousand thousands ministered unto Him; the judgment was set, and the books were opened….I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to “The Ancient of Days,” and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed….Until “The Ancient of Days” came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom…And the kingdom and dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.

Hitherto is the end of the matter.

I love the words, “Hitherto is the end of the matter.” There is such a “ring of finality” with those words – as if there is nothing left to say – end of the matter.

With God, when it’s done – it’s done!

When it’s said – it’s said.

Think of the worst-case scenario that could ever happen – The world that humanity lives in coming under the evil rule of an Anti-Christ man/god who has the most intense hatred for God that could ever be manifested. This one will be so impacted with Lucifer’s hatred for God that he, in return, will impact a whole world of people to turn to him as their redeemer from the world’s problems.

Consider that he is a total mockery of everything that is holy, eternal and pure by exalting hatred for God, Jesus Christ and the Work of the Holy Spirit in reaching out for the souls of mankind.

In light of such a plan that is being developed now to destroy humanity and remove all traces of God, we can better understand the problems that are being faced right now in our world. These problems are complex and many in number but they all fit into a “planned displacement and overthrow” of Jesus by Satan.

He will use anyone and anything to have his way with man and the earth.

Every perversion, lie, and evil scheme is clutched in his fists that he has shaken and is shaking against God’s Kingdom and God’s people.

The Anti-Christ spirit is already at work and has been increasing in power and position for the final thrust of the Satanic Kingdom. Out of this movement flows all the “past-hidden-agendas” that are becoming arrogantly unveiled for the world to consider. What was hatched behind closed doors is now boiling up out of the pits of hell, escalating the spirit realm into a major battle with the Church of the Living God.

We see, even now, the gates of hell being opened over our nations, with America no exception.

Once a stronghold of God, it now appears to be fast turning into a chamber of satanic agenda. Powerful men, women and devils are moving rapidly to attempt to unseat God once again, just as Lucifer attempted in the days of his creation.

It is still all about thrones and who will sit, ruling and reigning.

We as,

“God’s Divine Intercepting Force,”

– intercessors of all kinds, from all rank and file of the church, from the head down, are positioned right in the middle of the most deadly battle that the earth will ever face – possibly the last great revival and ingathering of the souls of men and women, boys and girls.

The devil is not going down easy – not yet anyway… Currently we have many battlefronts as varied as man’s thoughts, but all are certainly a part of a single, but multifaceted satanic plan to displace God’s Son, Jesus, and His followers, Christians, from planet earth.

Remember, I am talking about the plans of the devil, not the weakness of our stance or acting as defeatist for that certainly is far from what I am presenting to you. I believe in the victorious, overcoming Church of Jesus Christ, that we are conquerors, more than conquerors through Christ Jesus…

But, don’t be fooled into believing in some “glitzy religion” that is soft, easy and cushy…it will not exist in the season ahead.

Only the rough warriors of the faith, those full of determination and the Word of God will stand the test. Lines are being draw for the church by the “Finger of God.” “Step to a side and choose” is the message of this hour. Every move of God has been full of choices as to where one will stand, but stand we will – one side of the other.

The powers of darkness are already challenging the Church.

The world will hate you if you love Jesus!

Count on it.

I pray that we will never minimalize the season that we are in, as if “this too shall pass over” and we will soon get back “to normal.”

We must not be those who hide our faces in a hole in the ground and trust that if we don’t look that it is not real.

The world, under the current rule, will never be normal again. This is not a single storm cloud that has blown our way – this is a darkening cloud that is attempting to cover the face of the earth – to blot out the Light of God’s Kingdom and His Glory that is prophesied to “cover the face of the earth.”

We are sliding down the slope to Armageddon and nothing can stop what God has ordained for this world or the time-table that he holds in His Mighty Hand for this world.

Folks, the devil is NOT in control but he is raging. He still has to watch for God’s clues as to what is to happen next…he then quickly, jumps in with both feet to try to catch up and make something work for him. He too does have a plan, but his is secondary to God’s. Remember – His miscalculations began in heaven and are still a big flaw in him – he still thinks that he can outsmart God somehow and actually make it work. But, there is God…

God’s Son shall rule and reign and literally sit upon the Throne of David – but not yet...

Even with Satanic power such as has never yet been seen on our earth and is yet to come, even with all that the devil will employ to serve him in his grand “Scheme of the Ages,” remember that God Himself had a “Plan of the Ages” that was enacted even before Lucifer was created and could even think of how to oppose God.

“The Ancient of Days,” that is seated upon a Throne that is eternal and shall not pass away – one who has already decided the end of the matter – His Christ shall sit upon the Throne and for all intents and purposes already does.

When we think of thrones, we think of those that match our own human government, based upon our own thoughts, but this throne is not a chair.

It is a position.

Satan can touch it all he wants in this season, but it will NEVER be his! It is God’s to possess and He does! If God has decreed that Jesus will sit and rule from the New Jerusalem, then He already does – the matter is sealed eternally.

Timing is everything with God.

Time only allows humanity to make a decision about Christ, move things into place for the end of the ages and for the devil to dig a deeper pit for himself in which he will soon be taken.

When God prophesies a matter – it is done.

His Word shall be accomplished – just as He said it would be.

So, Israel, watch out – for your Messiah is on His Way!

World, watch out – for King Jesus is soon to arrive on Planet Earth!

What a sight that will be!

Revelation 19:11-16

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness doth he judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns, and he had a name written, that no man knew, but He himself. And he was clothed with vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were with Him in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

If everyone thought that the earthquake at the cross was something – think about the magnitude of the earthquake – spiritually and physically – that will rock this planet and the city of Jerusalem as Jesus touches down His Holy feet right into the center of the plans of a dirty devil.

The unholy trio will be feeling fairly confident and suddenly…Jesus comes to town.

All hell is going to break loose – really break loose… the grip of Satan will be broken, not a finger at a time, but ripped off by the Power of Jesus Christ. He has come to declare war and hitherto is the end of the matter!

It is going to be glorious and earthshaking. All the “plans of mice and men” are going to dissolve in a heartbeat. The heads of all will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

When Jesus sits down for that first time, in the eyes of all mankind, that seat will establish more than we can ever begin to comprehend. Every nuance of filth, debauchery, and rebellion will be erased and in an instant be no more.

Revelation 19:20

“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. They both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

It will be the end of the matter and not one soul on planet earth will be able to argue, for Jesus is Lord! The devil will be thrust from the scene as rapidly as he was thrust from heaven on the day of his transgression – He will once again be cast as lightning, but this time, from the earth.

Revelation 20:1-3

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him…”

His power that was permitted for a season will be banished and Jesus will reign supreme and immortal. When He first raises those nail-scarred hands and decrees a thing – it will be established – for He is the King!

How can I talk about a King such as He is?

How can my mind even begin to understand the rule of Heaven’s King – the One who is seated right now to the Right Hand of The Father and making intercession for me, even as I write this letter to you?
How can I speak of such majesty and power?
How can any human being on the earth begin to understand His Kingship when all we have to compare it to is earthly kings that are rising and falling all the time – presidents who are elected in and out – prime ministers who are here today and gone tomorrow – men who die and are no more – seats that have a revolving door behind them – evil rulers and good rulers – those who are seated by popular opinion and those who are seated by dominance…?
Who can understand a King such as Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God?
Who can comprehend Him or even worship Him as He is worthy to be worshipped?

Who can?

God help us all to do it now for surely on a day in the future we will – having no choice, no matter which side we stand on – we will worship Him. Our eyes will behold Him and our heart will be captured by Who He is… regardless of where we stood in relationship to Him in our lifetime.

Oh that men would worship Him now!

Can I bring this message home to you – up close and personal?

In making application for how we live and fit within the incredible plan of God, we still live in flesh bodies striving for spiritual excellence. We know that we all face some terrific odds in living out our faith and at times are seemingly tested beyond our endurance.

Consider the worst thing that you are currently facing – personally. Think of the magnitude of such terror, loss, pain, agony, confusion, disappointments, false accusations, difficulties and such that you may be going through and meditate on this:

God is still on the Throne!

The Ancient of Days has already settled matters – decreed it from His throne – and is enacting His plan even now, within the confines of His plan and timing.

It is a matter of us moving in harmony with God’s plan for our lives. We battle our own minds and flesh when trials come our way and eventually turn to God in desperation, because, really, we don’t know how to fix anything.

How very little we understand the thoughts and ways of God and how often we override them with our own thoughts and ways.

Oh, faith is a tough thing when it’s tough. It is easy when everything is smooth, but when the whole earth is shaking and our own little world is shaking, how do we stand?

We still have a tendency to remove Jesus from the Throne and take the seat to rule and hold the reins of our own lives.

We too, even though we believe that He is, act as if He isn’t. So much of our own weakness is revealed in times of difficulties and persecutions.

Prayerfully, we “softer, modern Christians” who have yet to really be tested in a fiery trial of God proportion will eventually get it – He is in the fire with us.

Daniel… was troubled by what he saw…just as we too are troubled by what we see and are going through. But the matter is settled with God.

When all the breath is knocked out of us,

God is still full of breath.

When our anchors have slipped and we feel like we are wafting upon uncertain seas,

God is still our anchor.

The cross of Christ defeated the Devil.

Jesus has already mocked him and put him to an open shame. Imagine all of hell who had placed their hope in Lucifer, had hoped that the crucifixion was the end of the matter, had believed that the world belonged to them and all the people in the world were theirs to do with as they pleased. When the blows were placed upon the back of the Jesus of Nazareth, and the spikes were driven into his hands and feet and he was crucified – it may have given hell a moment of relief and belief, but that was soon crushed.

You see, Jesus did not even wait for the resurrection to mess up the devil’s day, He did it while the devil though he was still dead.

The shock and dismay on the devil’s face must have been great to behold as he realized that Jesus was still there and still very much in control.

We have to be willing to also mess up the devil’s day and let him know that even though he thought that we were dead that we are still very much alive and kicking – not in our own power, but in the might and power of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We may not see the look of dismay on the devil’s face when we are victorious in the midst of our trials, but we do know that it is there.

Better yet, shock him – blow his mind – trust Jesus and watch his face when Jesus comes to town – your town and messes up his plans for you.

I have heard that practice makes perfect, so this season and whatever trials you are facing should be a great time to put your faith in motion and see what God can do with a situation that seems to be way over your head!

Watch and see if the God who sits on the Throne of Glory will not rise and stretch forth His great and awesome hand and declare, “Satan, Hitherto is the End of the Matter.”
