Them, The Devil and Us

In Honor of all those who lost their lives and opened this country to a new threat, may we all bend our knees and hearts in prevailing prayer, keeping this country bathed in the overcoming power of the blood of Jesus.

Terrorists:

As America has faced her hidden enemy that has taken so many lives, we, as Christians, also face our hidden enemy that has taken lives for centuries. In the same way that the leaders and citizens of America speak the rhetoric of today trying to “understand” the enemy and deciding how or whether this enemy should be fought, the strategy of that enemy continues basically unhindered - we face people today who debate warfare of Biblical proportion. 

Burrowed into the fabric of our society, hiding in dugouts and foxholes all over America are terrorists.  Everyone, by now, knows that they are there, maybe even your next-door neighbor or dentist, or grocer.  This enemy is hidden well and “appears” innocent.

These terrorists are without mercy, not even valuing their own lives. The steadfastness and patience that they exhibit to “Work their Plan” is a trademark.  They can wait, if necessary, for years. 

These are the Terrorists of the World.

We know they are there. We just don’t really know how to fight them to win the victory over their advance into our society. 

Our walls have broken down and our guards are gone.  Our boundaries are loose.  Our government is fragmented into parties and factions.  Our military has been weakened.  Our arsenal of weapons have been depleted or disarmed.  Many of our watchmen have long ago left their posts.  Our loyalties are split between the national and global world.  The enemy has infiltrated us. 

The nation has been taken by a “Trojan Horse”, who now sits within our borders, full of those who came early to open the gates of this nation.

In most cases the gates were opened by our own negligence or carelessness.  We just didn’t “believe” that we could be brought down.

Terrorists of Another Kind:

We have another group of terrorists that have infiltrated America and the Nations of the World.  These are not seen with the natural eyes.  These are those who have terrorized the entire world since the fall of Lucifer. They have hidden within the fabric of our societies as well, and very successfully.  They have wreaked havoc upon humanity while the church has tried to define them, their existence, and whether we are “called” to battle them.  We have watched as millions of babies have been aborted under the new laws of our age.  We have seen our children systematically deprogrammed away from God in the schools. 

We have wrung our hands at the state of things in America, as if to ask, “What can I do?”

Meanwhile the enemy’s camp has prospered greatly, gaining much territory, meaning many lives have been lost, as he has sabotaged humanity.  This attack upon the souls of our families, churches, cities, states, nations and world has barely been fought, until now.

Holy Terrors:

Just as America has called in the Special Forces to fight this “new kind of war,” God also has called in His special forces.

In America, these men and women go behind the enemy line, gaining information and strategy to use against the enemy.  We too are finding that God has called us to go behind the enemy’s line, with our night vision, that which pierces the darkness in which he hides and does his work.  We see.  We know.  We are sent.  We are at war.

We, this special force of Christians, no longer wonder if the enemy is real or if we should fight him, nor do we argue anymore on how to fight him.  We just do it, because we now understand the battle.  The great commander in chief has taught our hands to war during the Saulish reign, while we were in our cave.  Yes, we are a ragged band of warriors, but we are well armed and well oiled.  We have a Lord who is leading this army and we are marching.  We are coming out of our caves to dominate the land with righteousness through the Blood of the Lamb.

While others are still trying to figure out if we “should or shouldn’t do warfare,” we are convinced that we are called to do it.  We have read the manual and it is clear in it’s instructions concerning the battle, the weapons and the armor.  It is clear in defining our enemy.  It is clear in defining the safety measures that we must take.

Jesus is called the Lord of Hosts.

God is called a Man of War.

These scriptural descriptions are strong indicators to all of us that they are the generals in this army.  They are the ones with the maps of the terrain in their hands.  They have the devil’s playbook open before them.  They know the enemy totally and will express the different ways in which this war will be fought.  The Scriptures, (War Manual), is with us as a tool to use to train ourselves, and to know our Trainer, the Holy Spirit, and to know our Master, Jesus Christ, and to know our enemy, the devil, and his tactics.

In this war on the devil’s camp, there can be neither pacifists nor conscientious objectors. 

If you object, then you are not in the army of God.

Every Christian is enlisted when they enter the Kingdom of God.  We all fight for Him by living for Him and working for Him.   

Boot camp is over for some of us and we are commissioned.  Some are still in training, but are eager to learn.  But we all do know that we are called to stand upon the Wall of Intercession and hold fast.

We are HOLY TERRORS to the devil and his gang.

He is intimidated - We are not. 

He is fearful - We are not. 

He is confused - We are not.

He is a liar – We speak truth. 

His troops are fighting within his own army - We are not. 

He is being routed out of his hiding places - We are bold in our stand. 

We are crashing his gates - Ours are hanging firm. 

His walls are crumbling - Ours are being built up stronger all the time. 

He is eating dust - We are drinking the Living Water. 

His joints creak with age and the wear and tear of the battle - We are running smooth. 

He is getting cranky and more evil - We are rejoicing for the victory is ours. 

His feet are slipping in the sand that surrounds him - We are sure-footed upon the Rock that we stand upon. 

His networks keep falling apart and the messages are scrambled - We are gaining strength in our networking and the message is getting clearer all the time. 

So why shouldn’t we battle?  

We are ready. 

We are called.

Prepare For Holy War

"Awake, Watchmen On The Walls."
If we sleep, even for a moment, spiritually speaking, the enemy will advance and take the ground gained for the Kingdom of God.
Be jealous over what God has placed in your hands and guard it.
The enemy does not sleep.
Neither should we.
