CHECK POINT

A Leadership and Intercessory Letter written to those who desire Integrity in the Inward Parts  (Psalm 51:6)

Special Edition – February 2, 2002

Written by Esther Dummer

Dear Friends, I wish to take this time to introduce a young and fervent voice reflecting the hot, fiery passion of the hearts of those who make no apologies for what they believe.

Her statements are bold, aggressive and have no level of compromise in them.

This breed of Christian is destined to take the world by a Holy Storm.

This is Lindsay.

She is a member of Gateway Worship Center.

It is with pleasure that I present to you two of her writings, Written to the Church,

  Fasten Your Seat Belts Church!

The Youth of Revival are talking and they do have something to say!

  “Let the Church Arise!”

Written By Lindsay Wright – (17 yrs old)

January 10, 2002

O Church, where is your passion?

Where is your fire?

Where is your righteous indignation?

All around you hear the utterances of,

“Tolerance!”

“Tolerance!”

“Accept us!”

“We’re all one brotherhood.”

“One people with different beliefs.”

“No higher than another.”

“Where is your love and acceptance?”

My friends, don’t be deceived.

We are not one family as the world says we are.

Two voices can be heard loudly and clearly.

Jesus Christ and Anti-Christ.

The Bride, who is willing to stand up for her Love,

And

The Enemy, who longs to unite the world into one common faith.

Where is the line drawn?

The line is clear and distinct if you will put on Christ and open your eyes.

The chasm between truth and error, light and darkness, is becoming wider.

If you are not willing to stand up and declare the Word of God, look around yourself.

You are in the middle of the world, amongst even “church people”,

People who are full of the world’s doctrines, beliefs, and opinions, and have no ounce of godliness in them.

There are no gray areas left.

No more hiding in the crowd.

You’re either a part of the Army of the Lord, or you’ve joined the Enemy’s ranks.

Which camp are you in, Church?

What’s written on the banner above your head?

Lord of Hosts

Or

The One Who Comes As An Angel of Light?

Are you willing to rise up and fight the world’s greatest war?

If you don’t pick up your weapons and strap on your armor, you will be annihilated.

This war isn’t about destroying flesh and blood; this war is about the eternity of a soul, about the possessing of authority.

The clock is ticking.

The flames are flickering brighter now and every one is feeling the heat.

Get a backbone.

There’s not time to be wishy-washy and undecided.

If you don’t stand unshakable on the Word of God, which declares that there is only One Almighty God and that Jesus is the only way unto Salvation,

Then move aside or get ready to be blown out of the way.

The greatest battle ever to be fought is on the brink of explosion

And

You may just be the first casualty.

Righteous, steadfast, true, empowered, and radically full of the Holy Ghost is what the True Bride of Christ is - the Lord’s chosen mouthpiece.

Hold on to Jesus, because soon His hand will snatch His Bride to Himself.

Are you ready?

Stand for something.

Live for something.

Be extreme.

Be real.

  “The Wall”

Written by: Lindsay Wright

January 15, 2002

An impenetrable force--the wall that takes the blows for the unprotected.

Scarred,

Battered,

Beaten,

And

War-torn,

It stands unshakable.

It's future known; it's foundation sure.

Immovable? Yes.

Unaffected? No.

The substance?

Passion. Desire. Determination. Anticipation. Desperation. Hope. Faith. Peace. Love. Joy. Belief.

Ultimately?

Jesus.

The wall?

His army.

There they stand.

The cord of the Holy Spirit binding them together.

Tight.

No gaps.

No slack.

Tight.

Bound in the same faith.

Their looks deceiving.

Weak, odd, uncaring, apathetic, just out-there?

No, their armor is secure and gleaming.

Their sword?

Sharp, wise, and precise.

Comprehending completely who the Enemy is, and knowing exactly where, how, and when to defend and destroy with the precious weapon.

Can you hear them marching?

Listen.

Their steps echo through the valleys and rumble over the mountaintops.

They demand submission to their Commander.

His fire is burning in their spirits.

They can hear it consuming their being.

It flickers in the depths as their heart beats out a passion for souls.

Caught up in their Savior, they march with unwavering love dancing in their eyes.

How far will they advance?

Until the moans of death and desperation turn into the glorious shouts of praise to their beloved Father.

Just His children; but children who will stand undaunted until the end of all time.

Can you see the army?

There they stand--an unshakable and dangerously radical wall.

God Bless the Faithful Watchman on the Walls of the Church!
