The Wall Written by L. Wright
An impenetrable force--the wall that takes the blows for the unprotected. Scarred, battered, beaten, and war-torn, it stands unshakable. It's future unknown; it's foundation sure. Immovable? Yes. Unaffected? No. The substance? Passion. Desire. Determination. Anticipation. Desperation. Hope. Faith. Peace. Love. Joy. Belief. Ultimately? Jesus. The wall? His army. There they stand. The cord of the Holy Spirit binding them together. Tight. No gaps. No slack. Tight. Bound in the same faith. Their looks deceiving. Weak, odd, uncaring, apathetic, just out-there? No, their armor is secure and gleaming. Their sword? Sharp, wise, and precise. Comprehending completely who the Enemy is, and knowing exactly where, how, and when to defend and destroy with the precious weapon. Can you hear them marching? Listen. Their steps echo through the valleys and rumble over the mountain tops. They demand submission to their Commander. His fire is burning in their spirits. They can hear it consuming their being. It flickers in the depths as their heart beats out a passion for souls. Caught up in their Savior, they march with unwavering love dancing in their eyes. How far will they advance? Until the moans of death and desperation turn into the glorious shouts of praise to their beloved Father. Just His children; but children who will stand undaunted until the end of all time. Can you see the army? There they stand-- an unshakable and dangerously radical wall.
